Deck Building help - Tommy edition!

I've been asked for help making a deck of "Tommy" cards only and using no promo cards.

I went overboard on the expensive cards but that's the only way Tommy could have some reliable combos.
Also all of his suits have been used, hope you like it!

0 cost cards
3x Red Zeo Ranger    3-074  Common
2x Red Turbo Ranger  4-090  Common

1 cost cards
3 x Green Mighty Morphin Ranger  1-078  Super Rare
1x Green Mighty Morphin Ranger  3-083  Rare
3x White Mighty Morphin Ranger  1-079   Rare
2x Red Zeo Ranger  4-100  Common

2 cost cards
1x Black Dino Thunder Ranger 3-039 Rare
3x Green Mighty Morphin Ranger 4-111 Ultra Rare
1x Red & Green Turbo Ranger  4-095  Common
2x Red Alien Ranger & Red Zeo Ranger  4-104  Rare

7 cost cards
3x Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 3-084 Ultra Rare

Zords & Megazords
3x    Brachiozord  3-045  Rare  (4cost)
3x   Battle Mode Dragon Megazord 1-084  Ultra Rare (6 cost)

There are only two 0 cost Tommy cards, they're both in this deck.
Here's the Red Turbo Ranger. Play this card whenever!
Keep an eye out on your Discard Area, Training Area and Hand for all the Scissors symbol cards you see. This build has in total 18 Scissors symbol cards, if you keep in mind how many you've already drawn and used up, you might know how likely you are to pull off this effect.

You want to use some of these Red Zeo Rangers as costs for other cards to build up a few of them in the Discard Area for the 0 cost one's effect. Red Zeo is the only one out of he main Zeo team to have a multiple of his card, he can come out with instant MAX levels if you have enough of these discarded.
Even though it only does 1 damage, that one guaranteed win will be -2 card from your opponent's deck on the following turn, and saving yourself from taking damage this turn!

Check out the Red Zeo Ranger's awesome effect not his crotch. Instantly getting you back any Zeo Ranger without having to [WIN] or [LOSE] for it. Getting back the 0 cost one can mean winning little by little by stalling.

You can discard your other Zeo Rangers and at the same time summon this card out for cheaper with the Unite ability. Being a Zeo too, this card can be recycled with the 1 cost Zeo's effect.
Here you get 2 MAX powers for just 1 cost, its a decent attacker. You have 1/3 chance of getting MAX, if your opponent wants to dethrone your MAX with their own, you get a free card in your Training Area to beat them at the next roll!

Go Green Ranger go!
This card removes high cost cards your opponent has or if your opponent has been stacking [DAMAGE] cards on top of their deck, get rid of them!
Also play this card if you have suspicions your opponent has a matching Enhance card in their hand with what they have on the Battle Area. This is a big threat to RPM decks when they play Gold and their Silver that play a Zord on top of it for -3 cost.

This guy does it all! There just wasn't more copies added to the deck because of him not being Scissors symbol and helping his Turbo self.
You get to choose what you discard from your opponent. Remove their higher cost cards or take no chances and play this card the moment they get even 1 card in the Training Area.
The levels of this card are a little weak but you have the Evil Symbol here. Use it and maybe you will drop a Zord or Megazord.
Speaking of those types of cards, you can get rid of a training area card and for fairly cheap cost play a Brachiozord on top of this to change your RPS.

This card is pretty pricey but the deck revolves around it. Summon a Team card for free or your Dragonzord. Cheap and broken, prepare to have no one want to play against you.

A full 3 copies of this to help you pay for the Dragonzord and team card when you don't have the cheap Green Ranger ultra rare. Don't summon this.

It does a lot of damage. Don't put too many of these in the deck because it is not Scissors symbol and eats up your hand.

He's Scissors symbol, hes Tommy, and he's here to stop opponent's finishing moves where they want to play a Megazord to hit for game. You have good options too for your own final move but you can play Dr. Oliver if you do not have your Dragonzord in your hand that turn or play his card if you can afford to pay for his and Dragonzord but just to stop any Enhance that might remove your Dragonzord off your Battle Area.

Why does this thing even have an effect, its never going to lose a fight.
Cheap away at this card with your Green Ranger Ultra Rare.
Tommy doesn't have any Enhance cards yet and with Shark Mode not being an option in this deck or [HAND] Ninja Storm, play this for really cheap cost to change your RPS.

Play this, you win, congrats, your money won you the battle.
This card will get banned or limited to 1, one day.

Other options
Adding to the Scissors symbol deck, thats about all these cards do but they were left out because they have real costs and don't summon out for free.
The White Ranger could be good at putting the other White Ranger back in your deck but again, why build up cards when you can summon everything for free.

If you have this promo you can use it to fight off Shark Modes.

This would be a fun deck if it wasn't so cheap, if Battle Mode was limited to 1 and if the Green Ranger Ultra Rare was banned.

Deck Profile: Megaforce Chibis, Battle of clones

Megaforce Chibis! The commons you get from the Battle Ready Mini Figures set.
This collection of cards is one of the weirdest in the entire game as its full of cards that are almost exact copies of each other. They were able to get away with doing that by releasing a normal version of the ranger and then a transparent alternate figure to collect. The cards did have different numbers with which ever version you got and had different backgrounds on the art

Since all the cards have clone effects I will mostly show one of each card having a different effect.

Here's the basic 0 cost Ranger card. There are no other 0 cost Rangers in the chibi set other then these that move to the bottom of the deck and there is no Red Ranger card like these.
These cards are ok, don't play them on the first turn so that you don't waste their effect if you happen to win.
These are always good for picking up a Robo Knight that saved you last turn.

On to the one cost cards........ as you can see the Red Megaforce Ranger has 4 same copies... and also he is the only 1 cost card for the chibis.
The effect is very different from the rest of his team but it does have a very nice combo with the 2 cost cards. You also have shield here.

Robo Knight has 2-3? versions of this card.
His power levels are about the same as a 1 cost card other then he has a really higher lv5 of 350. Its ok and it has Shield but for the 2 cost, this card isn't one to put a lot of copies of in the deck.
His effect kind of has a wrong timing. Battling? Battling timing can be activated whenever you want, as soon as you are done paying the cost for this card, so you can kind of activate this card's effect even before you roll a Judgement. That's weird.
This guy already ate up 3 cards in your hand to summon it, now it wants more cards out of your hand to use his effect. I don't recommend using his effect unless you're really winning and want to make sure you can afford to lose another card in your hand just to have more cards in your deck left then your opponent.
Possibly a last resort to try to use his effect to get MAX too but for 4 cards total you might as well try and summon a Megazord instead.

No effect! Really??
Use this card if you want to do more damage and of course change your RPS if you're not playing the Red Ranger already or something with Shield if you think you're gonna lose.
The 400 power level is weak but the rest of it is ok, its still a little less then other Megazords have.

1 cost higher and still no effect?!
DO NOT play this card.
It has the same RPS as the other Megazord, does the same amount of damage.
I will say this though, its 1210 is unique, it can beat other things that have 1200 power lol.

Now for some cards that are not released yet and these are really strong but selfish in their effects.
They are still clones but now in Ultra mode!

In series 3 of the blind bags you get the Ultra rangers. Blue and Red get a transparent figure, so another copy of their card too.
I call these cards selfish because they only work with other copies of themselves, any version yes, but they don't do anything for the other rangers. If you run other colors of rangers in your deck, your deck gets weaker.
These cards are risky.
First you have to pay 2 to summon them, thats a lot! and then you have to win the fight to use their effect ugh. But also for a 2 cost card, this only has 180 power on lv1, thats weak!
If you somehow won and still have a bunch of cards in your hand, congrats, now those cards all better be Blue Megaforce cards and prepare to discard them all to dish out massive damage.
I would take advantage of the +1 Damage even if you don't win by RPS because you get cards in the Training Area and that damage still adds up, for every 2 damage you do, your opponent has lost a turn of cards they could have drawn. Getting to do 4 damage would be a really nice hit. Even better if you do win by RPS, you would have done 8 damage from just playing this and discarding 2 cards.

Remember the 1 cost Red Ranger talking about the Training Area?
If you used one of these Ultra Rangers to fill the TA, he'd be able to use his effect and his effect wouldn't seem to impossible to use now.

Deck Building
If these Ultra Ranger cards were released, I would say fill your deck with only Red and Blue Rangers. There is not enough Red or enough Blue to have only 1 color. But you would have a good chance of activating the Ultra Rangers +1 Damage.
Maybe 1 Megazord to change your RPS if things get ugly.
Use the Red Ultra Ranger, send a bunch of cards to your Training Area. Then play down a 1 cost Red Ranger to use his effect of changing RPS to hit for 4 damage. He will most likely win his fight because your Training Area is full.
Play a few 0 cost Blue Rangers because some turns you might need to stall to build up your hand and you'll need those Blues of course because Blue doesn't have as many cards as Red does. He might even win and bring cards back to the bottom of your deck.

0 cost Blue Ranger
 P-008 x3
P-110 x3
1 cost Red Rangers
 P-005 x3
P-061 x3
P-087 x3
P-129 x3
Blue Ultra Rangers
P-143 x3
P-149 x3
Red Ultra Ranger
P-142 x3
P-148 x3
And thats 30 cards!

As for the chibis without using the Ultra Rangers...they are bad, good luck using them.

Ahaha and here's the Villain that ruins the Megaforce chibi's combinations

Deck Profile - We need chibi power now!

Alpha, Rita's escaped, recruit a team of adorable chibis with attitude

You want to start off with this card in your hand. He will get his effect by just having thrown away a Mighty Morphin card to pay his cost. Allowing you to hit hard on turn 1 for 3 damage!
Try to throw away a Megazord card or any other high damage card for a later combination with other Mighty Morphin cards.

Unlike the Green Ranger, these guys should not be played on the first turn because you will not have a Mighty Morphin card in the Discard Area and you would only be doing 1 damage. Save them for at least the 2nd turn . As 0 cost cards they are good to stall with while you build up your hand for a bigger move, while also doing enough damage as a typical 1 cost cards. These guys are strong for their cost.

These are more cards that should not be played on the first turn so that you can either activate their effects or fake out your opponent into thinking you’re playing a Megazord this turn.
Mighty Morphin do not have Zord cards yet, it will be obvious you’re playing a Megazord but the card doesn’t say you have to play a Mighty Morphin card, you can play any Zord or Megazord such as a Megaforce one to recycle a few cards back into your deck.

The chibi cards have very few options on what they should play on the first turn. Alpha would be a fine card to summon. His 0 cost would allow you to keep your hand size up and at the same time scout the opponent’s plays while staying safe behind his shield ability. If Alpha happens to get his Max, that’s a lot damage dealt for having payed nothing to summon him. On the first turn it will be impossible for your opponent to play any Megazord cards.
You can also play an Alpha card on the turn you know you want to summon a Megazord so you can force your opponent into a tough fight, your Megazord vs. their little Ranger, who do you think is going to win that fight.

On a final note about Alpha. On the ‘final’ turn of the game when your opponent has many cards in their hand and you know they’re going to play a Megazord as their finishing move, such as the Battle Mode Dragon Megazord who gets all his powers as Max, you can interrupt their big finish by forcing them to only play Rangers or Zords for the turn. You bet, they’re going to hate having their Megazord blocked.

Onto the friendly rivalry of the team. Jason being outfitted with the Green Ranger’s shield and his dagger, and the White Ranger Tommy here to be the new leader of the Power Rangers.
Both of these guys have no trouble winning fights with their multiple MAX levels.

The Red Ranger receives more of a boost from cards in the Training Area, almost giving them the Ally symbol the other cards are missing in this chibi set. If your Alpha lost on the previous turn, his assist would be worth 3! Or if the White Ranger was taken down and he’s used for assisting, with his Ally symbol and the Red Ranger’s effect, his total assist value is 4! Rolling a 1 will be no problem if you have the White Ranger to assist you to MAX.

The Red Ranger sounds really impressive but now its time to meet the new leader, the White Ranger.
He has his own ways of getting to MAX too. Before you summon him, you want to make sure you have 1 Green or White Ranger in your hand so you can use it as payment and you want to leave that card on top of the Discard Area when you’re done paying the cost. Throw away a Green Ranger chibi and he’d give you 2 assist almost for free instead of just staying in the Discard. But even better, instead throw away a same White Ranger card so you can use its Ally symbol and assist for 3.
The Red Ranger is definitely a come back card for when you lost the previous turn. The White Ranger is for a sneak attack while your opponent thinks you have no Training Area. Either one you choose, they are both team mates and ready to help one another.

We need Megazord power now!
Here’s the Dino Megazord with his sword already drawn, he’s not playing around.
Its hard to choose which Megazord to talk about first since they both work so well with each other.

The Dino Megazord is just for hitting hard, it doesn’t really have an effect the first time you play it and its power levels are kind of low compared to other Megazords but it should have no problem in a fight where you played Alpha and locked your opponent from playing a Megazord.
If somehow you lose the fight, this Megazord has a very unique effect, he can rise from the Training Area and fight again next turn for no cost! You don’t even have to play a Ranger down first.

The combined powers of the Dino Megazord and Dragon Zord form the Battle Mode Dragon Megazord!
This is the hand cost card out of the chibi set so I saved it for last.

The first few power levels are a little weak and comparable to some Zord cards or even some really strong Villain cards. When you get to the 700 power and higher, now you’re talking Megazord levels.
The high cost of this card is more then made up for with being able to get 2 cards into your Training Area! C’mon, you’re gonna win this turn’s fight if you get that many boosts for free.
Now we come back to the Green Ranger card, the card I said you should play on the first turn. With him having had prepared a high damage card in the Discard Area, you’d have a 3-4 assist off just one card and still have another card to assist with.
You can put multiple Dino Megazord in your Training Area and then for 2 more turns later, be playing Megazords for free! It doesn’t matter if you use up your entire hand setting up this combo, during those turns of playing free Megazords, you are getting 4 draws and then 2 more again on the turn you run out of Megazords but you most likely would have won already with that kind of power.

Don’t forget the 0 cost Rangers that would reduce the cost for you to summon this thing.

Deck Building
There are 11 chibi cards, you should play 3 of most of them and leave out a copy of each of the Blue, Pink and Yellow Rangers as you won't be using their effects so much.

That’s pretty much it, may you have fun with your Chibi cards and surprise those you play against by showing off the strong bond the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have.

Now go and beat up this guy. Just not with your Megazords, lol.
